The Values that Guide My Work
My Values
1. Our bodies know
Our bodies are always speaking to us and telling us when there are imbalances.
Healing happens when we get quiet, start to listen, and address the underlying issues.
We are our own best healers.
2. There are no shortcuts
Nutrition is the foundation for physical health.
Pills won’t fix everything. While Western medicine is lifesaving, prescription meds can be a bandaid when it comes to chronic health conditions.
To be healthy, we need to show up and do the work … especially on our most challenging days!
3. Our path to health can be messy
One size doesn’t fit all—we each have different bodies, goals, and needs.
Healing is not a linear process—moving “backwards” can be a form of growth.
“Fucking up” is a part of the process and can be wildly informative if we allow it to be!
4. It’s not just about food
Nourishment isn't just for our bodies. We must also nourish our minds and spirits
The body stores information and emotions, which can manifest as digestive issues, poor immunity and pain.
Our minds and bodies are intimately connected.
Honoring our emotions, listening to our internal dialogue, and connecting with self love are all part of healing from the inside > out.
5. We are all medicine for each other!
We can’t do this work alone!
We are all students and teachers.
Our experiences can serve as mirrors for one another.
Surround yourself with those who live by example and empower you to trust your own voice and intuition.
